The plan includes a complete set of Kimonos, accessories, hair ornaments, and hair styling perfect for occasions such as school trips, girls' night out, company outings, social gatherings, and more! We have women's Kimonos in many styles, including our popular lace, retro, and antique. We also offer a variety of men's Kimonos from simple to unique, all at the same price. Our four locations in Kyoto; Gion, Kiyomizu, Arashiyama, and Kyoto Ekimae, are all near train stations and Kyoto's tourist destinations. Our staff will do their best to support you so that you can create wonderful memories.

Kyoto Gion Store
Our Gion shop is located just one minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station and four minutes from Kyoto Kawaramachi Station. It’s also only five minutes from Yasaka Shrine, right in the heart of the Gion area, near Minami-za Theater and Hanamikoji Street.
Kyoto Kiyomizu Store
A five-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Kodaiji Temple, the Kiyomizu-dera shop is recommended for students who want to rent Kimonos for their school trips.
Kyoto Arashiyama Store
A five-minute walk from Randen Arashiyama Station and a six-minute walk from JR Saga Arashiyama Station makes this location convenient for renting a Kimono while sightseeing in Arashiyama, near Wataratsuki Bridge.
Kyoto Ekimae Store
Our Kyoto Ekimae Shop is just a one-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station, making it an ideal starting point for sightseeing. Many visitors rent their Kimonos from the Kyoto Ekimae Shop before heading to Kiyomizu-dera Temple or Arashiyama. The shop's proximity to the station makes it easy to return the Kimono after your adventures.
How long does it take to rent a Kimono?
From check-in to departure, it typically takes about 60 to 90 minutes depending on how much time you spend selecting your Kimono and accessories. It typically takes about 15 minutes to get dressed and another 15 minutes for hair styling.

- Our women’s Kimonos are most suitable for people 148 cm to 175 cm tall, and our men’s Kimonos are suitable for people 155 cm to 190 cm tall.
- If you want to take advantage of our Next-Day Return option, please inform us when making your reservation or before completing your payment.
- Returns must be made in person at our shop; we do not accept returns by mail.
- Please arrive when all members of your group are present.

Is your Group Plan available for men’s group?
Of course! The group plan is available for three or more people, regardless of gender.
Are there any differences in the types of Kimonos I can choose?
No matter which Kimono you choose, they are all priced the same at Kimono Rental WARAKU.
Can I also choose an Obi and accessories?
Yes! You can choose an obi, bag, sandals, etc., to match your Kimono.
How big is the bag included in the plan?
The size of the bags varies, but they are all large enough to carry a wallet, smartphone, handkerchief, lip balm, and phone charger.
Do men's Kimonos come with a bag?
Yes, we offer men's bags in several colors for you to choose from.
