Point 03
Same-day Reservation Notes
During busy periods such as the graduation season in March, summer fireworks festivals (e.g. Kyoto Art Fireworks Festival, Sumida River Fireworks Festival in Asakusa), and Golden Week, reservations may not be possible, so we recommend doing so in advance, especially during the such seasons. The average time customers spend at our store is about 45 to 75 minutes, so please allocate some time to spare.
The latest time to get dressed is 4:00 p.m. If you would like to rent for a little longer, we recommend our next-day return option (from 1,100 yen).
Point 04
Quick and Beautiful Dressing
It takes about 15 minutes to get dressed, 15 minutes for hairstyling, and including the time taken to choose your kimono and adjust your belongings, customers normally spend about an hour at our store. This time may vary depending on how busy the store is, so please treat it as a reference. For more details, please check the "Kimono Rental Process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q.Can I change the number of people in my reservation?
Yes, you can. To do so, please use the cancellation URL in the reservation confirmation email and make a new booking online.
Q.Can I add or change options?
You can change the options depending on the availability
Please feel free to ask our staff if you wish to do so
Q.Can high school and junior high school students also use the student discount plan?
Our Student Discount plan can be used regardless of nationality or age as long as you have a valid student ID. (Women only)
Elementary school children can also use the plan as long as they are 145 cm or taller. We do not have small elementary school children’s sizes, so we will provide adult-size kimonos.
Q.Which kimonos do you have, lace kimonos or traditional kimonos?
We have both lace and traditional kimonos at all our stores, be it in the Kyoto area (Gion, Kiyomizu, Kyoto Station, and Arashiyama stores) or Kanto area (Asakusa and Kamakura stores). We have a more extensive selection of lace kimonos than other stores, including variations in colors, patterns, and types, having different textures even for the ones with the same color. Our price does not change regardless of the kimono you choose.
Q.I haven't received a reservation confirmation email.
You should receive a reservation confirmation email when you make a reservation online. Not having one may indicate that your reservation hasn’t been made, so please make a reservation again through our website. One common reason could be because the email address you entered is incorrect, so please ensure the email address you enter is correct. If the problem persists, please contact us via the inquiry form or directly to the store.
*There may be cases where you cannot make a reservation as the number of people you wish to reserve is more than what is available.
