We regularly gather the latest kimono outfit ideas and make sure to incorporate trendy kimonos and accessories into our collection. Whether you’re going for a classic aesthetic or something more modern, you can mix and match freely to express your personal style. From elegant kanzashi (ornamental pin) to eye-catching headdresses and floral pieces, our accessory selection lets you get creative. 8. We Provide Beautiful Kimono Dressing, Perfect for Sightseeing

Our store employs many certified kimono dressers with national licenses. For kimono dressing suited for sightseeing, it’s important to find the right balance. While a beautifully elegant kimono requires a tight, secure fit, it can make walking and maintaining good posture more difficult. Kimono dressing suited for walking around requires a slightly looser fit to ensure comfort and allow for easier movement, making walking more comfortable and enjoyable. We strive to achieve the perfect balance between both, ensuring a beautiful and practical kimono fitting.

Can junior and senior high school students rent a kimono without a guardian?
With our most popular Student Discount Plan, junior and senior high school students can rent women’s kimonos by simply showing their student ID. There’s no need for a guardian to accompany them. Please enjoy our kimono rental service, whether it’s for a special graduation trip or fun activities during spring or summer break.
How many large sizes do you have available?
Our selection of larger sizes is more limited compared to other sizes, but we offer exclusive designs that aren’t available at other stores. These include sharp designs that create a slimming effect and cute, girly kimonos, all carefully chosen by our female staff. There are even some adorable designs that are unique to larger sizes, so we highly recommend them. We’ve had plus-size influencers use our service as well. If you’re unsure whether a kimono will fit your body type, please feel free to contact us!
Is it possible to stay warm while renting a kimono in winter?
Our foreign customers often mention how cold Japan gets during the winter. That’s why we recommend preparing for the cold weather. Feel free to bring your own warm innerwear like heattech, stick-on heat pads, or a scarf or stole. We also offer optional items to keep you warm, such as haori (coat), fluffy scarves, and colorful stoles. These are especially popular during the peak winter season, so if you’re interested, please let our staff know in advance.
Customer Reviews of Kimono Rental Waraku Asakusa Store
Our shop opened in Asakusa in 2018, and since then, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming many customers. We’re committed to providing excellent service so that every visitor leaves satisfied and wants to return. While we’ve made a few mistakes along the way, we’ve learned from them and worked hard to continuously improve. During the COVID-19 pandemic, tourist numbers dropped, and many kimono rental shops faced difficult times. Even then, our customers supported us with kind and encouraging words. Thanks to that support, our team stayed motivated and continued working with one goal in mind: to ensure our customers are satisfied.
It means a lot when someone says, “I had fun!” or “Thank you—I’ll come again!” These words encourage our staff and remind us why we do what we do.
We aim to continue contributing to tourism in Asakusa and to share the beauty of kimono and Japanese culture with both international visitors and the younger generation in Japan.

Thank you so much for everything today—from helping me choose a yukata to the dressing, hairstyling, and even the fun conversations. It had been a long time since I last wore a yukata, so I felt a little shy at first, but I ended up creating such a wonderful memory.
Thanks so much for the cute kimono, hair accessories, and hairstyle! I’ve made another great memory from my trip to the Shinbashi Enbujo theater.
Thanks so much for the beautiful kimono dressing and hairstyling yesterday! I had such a fun and memorable day.
