The plan includes a full kimono rental set and accessories, plus hair styling and hair accessories for women, as well as free luggage storage—so you can come completely empty-handed.
It’s available regardless of gender mix—women-only, men-only, or mixed groups—making it ideal for outings with friends or group events.
All women’s kimonos, including popular lace and antique styles, are available at the same price. No matter which kimono you choose, the price won’t change—so you can enjoy choosing your outfit without any worries.

Just 5-min Walk from Kamakura Station – Close to the Shrine and Komachi Street

Kamakura Kimono Rental Waraku is a short walking distance from Kamakura Station and other landmarks. Get yourself dressed in the shop, and off you go strolling along the streets of Kamakura.

Duration

Dressing takes about 15 minutes, and hair styling about another 15 minutes. Including check-in, selecting your kimono and accessories, and transferring your belongings, the whole process generally takes around 1 to 1.5 hours.
When the shop isn’t busy, it may be possible to finish in as little as 45 minutes.During peak seasons, we recommend allowing at least an hour.
Please keep in mind that the time may vary depending on how long it takes to choose your kimono and accessories, so this should be taken as a general guideline.

・Our kimonos fit women approximately 148cm–175cm tall and men approximately 158cm–190cm tall.
・The next-day return option cannot be added after payment. Please be sure to select it when making your reservation or before checking out. We do not offer return by mail.
・Please return your kimono in person, wearing it, directly to the shop.
・For group rentals, please ensure that all members arrive together.

Could a young child avail of this plan?

Girls must be at least 148cm tall, and boys at least 155cm tall to use our service. Please note that we provide adult-sized kimonos, not children’s sizes.
