Komon Kimono + Hakama
For a casual day out in a hakama, we recommend pairing a komon kimono with a hakama. This plan features a casual kimono with shorter sleeves, perfect for those who want to enjoy a relaxed hakama stroll. Choose from over 300 kimono styles, including lace and antique designs. Nishaku-sode Kimono + Hakama
A nishaku-sode kimono paired with a hakama is perfect for both relaxed strolls around town and formal ceremonies.

Time Needed To Get Ready
Required time is approximately 25 minutes for dressing and 15 minutes for setting hair. It usually takes 1 to 1.5 hours including reception, kimono & accessory selection, and arrangement of personal belongings. If the store isn’t busy, it can be done in as little as 50 minutes, however, during peak seasons, we recommend allowing at least 75 minutes.
Please note that the total time may vary depending on how long you take to choose your kimono and accessories, so consider this as a general guide.

・For the hakama rental, the “next-day return” option will not be available on the day of your rental; be sure to add at the time of reservation.
・No child-size hakama is available in our collection.
・Should you arrive late for your appointment, we will assist the guest who arrived before you. Please call us if you expect to arrive 10 minutes or later than scheduled.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I bring anything?
The plan comes with a set of hakama and accessories, so there’s nothing you need to bring with you. That said, during the cooler autumn and winter months, warm underwear or hand warmers could come in handy during cold seasons.
Do you provide services like preliminary consultation for hakama rental?
Yes, consultation is available at 12:00 – 16:00 (weekdays) and 14:00 – 16:00 (weekends/holidays). When selecting a plan on our website, choose ‘hakama preliminary consultation’. It is only valid within the said time. The consultation is limited to 30 minutes. No advance reservation of hakama or change of kimono is accepted by phone.
Is it okay to bring my own hair accessories?
Yes, please advise our hair stylist upon arrival.
※Certain types of accessories that require prior coordination or special treatment shall not be accepted.
Can I bring my own hakama instead of renting one?
The dressing service is available at ¥29,800 (plus tax); please select “with my own hakama ¥29,800” when making a reservation on our site and leave a detail in the comment section.
May I bring my own pair of boots?
Yes, please advise our staff upon arrival.
Are any child-size hakama available?
We do not offer hakama rentals specifically for elementary school children.
※ If, however, your child meets the minimum height requirement of 148 cm, they are welcome to use our adult-sized hakama.
