Point 1　Choosing your yukata together

One of the best parts of renting yukata as a couple is the time spent choosing your outfits together. However, some stores require men and women to select their yukata in separate areas. At Asakusa Kimono Rental Waraku, you can choose your yukata together in the same room and make your date in yukata more special by coordinating your outfits.
In this Yukata Couple Plan, you can pick any yukata, including retro and vintage styles, without worrying about extra charges. Men can also choose their ideal yukata from our extensive range including chic, refined designs and fresh, summery styles.

Note that dressing areas are separated into male and female areas.

Point 2　Access from the station and to sightseeing spots

Our Asakusa store is situated a 1-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Ginza subway line and the Tobu Skytree line. From there, it is just a short walk to sightseeing spots such as Sensoji Temple and Kaminarimon (3 minutes), and Asakusa’s main street, Nakamise Shopping Street (2 minutes). If it’s your first time wearing yukata, your walking pace might be a little slower than usual, so it’s a good idea to pick a place near a station to collect and return your yukata. If it rains, don’t worry - our store on Shin-Nakamise Shopping Street is close to an arcade, so you can enjoy your day in yukata no matter what.

Time needed to rent your yukata

It takes about 15 minutes for us to dress you in the yukata and another 15 minutes for hair styling. The entire process including reception, selecting a yukata and accessories, and storing belongings, typically takes around an hour to an hour and a half. On quiet days, you can be out in 45 minutes, but during busy seasons, please allow for around an hour and a half. The time you’ll need depends on how long it takes to select the yukata and accessories, as well as how busy the store is on that day, so please take these times as a reference only.

・You may not extend to next-day return after payment is complete. Please ask for next-day return when you make your booking or before you pay.
・The dressing rooms are separated into male and female areas.
・Please return the yukata directly to the store. We cannot accept postal returns.

Asakusa Kagetsudo’s pinwheel wall

At the entrance to Nishi-Sando shopping street is “Kazaguruma no Kabe,” a wall decorated with colorful pinwheels. The pinwheel colors change every season, making this a picturesque spot that’s ideal for memorable photos of you both on your holiday.
